Viper 5901 & Park Lights

I installed a Viper 5901 on my 2006 Sierra some time ago. Everything functions perfectly, however, it does something weird with the park lights that I can not seem to figure out. When the truck is started, the park lights come on....after a random amount of time (usually 6-10 minutes into start) the park lights shut off. They turn back on if you unlock the doors, or anything else.

 

Anyone have any ideas???

Sounds like maybe the gm onboard computer is turning off the accessories like it does if you leave your door open for long enough after the key is out of the ignition, it shuts off the lights after 5 min.

it turned out to be the bypass module that I was using. I removed the parklight wire from the bypass module and went straight to the BCM and it works fine now.
