94 Abs Bleeding Procedure?

I have just replaced a front brake line on my 1994 Blazer (Full size). I am having a hard time removing all the air from the lines. I had a helper pump the pedal and hold while I open the bleeder but this isn't getting all the air out. I think there is air trapped in the ABS system. I see two bleeder valves on the top of the unit but I don't know when to open them and if I should. Do I need to run the ABS in a jumped out condition or do I need a scanner for this? I need a procedure seeing how the Haynes manual is totally useless on this.

Any help?

Thanks, Bill

you push the peddle and open the bleed screws. ABS only activates when it senses a wheel locking up. if the wheels are all stopped, and the vehicle speed is zero, it will not pulsate. Just bleed them as you would any normal brake system.
