I Hate To Ask This Question

I have had a RC leveling kit (2") for about 3 mths now, I'm planning on installing it within the week.........however, I was told with this kit my back end will still be just a little higher than the front.....I was hoping that the front end would be just a little higher than the back. How much of a difference visually are the 2.5" kits over the RC 2" kit regarding the trucks rake?

Thanks

half an inch between 2.5 and 2. the difference between rear and front fender is less than that in my truck.. maybe 3/8".

i have the 2" kit and it is very close.. rake looks more/less depending where the truck is sitting. in my driveway it looks about level.

when you do have things it the bed/trailer, you want less ass sag so a little rake is good if you ask me.. plus adding the extra .25" to the strut angle/ball joint didn't seem worth it to me.

i'm happy with the rc 2" kit.

minimal look and more stress on the front end. I am happy with my 2in RC. I was 39 at the front and 39 3/8 in the rear.

My RC Leveling kit gave my '07 the perfect stance. Just a enough rake so it doesn't look like my "butt is dragging"! Here are the measurements I took before and after installation of my kit:

Before Measurements: LF-36 3/8", RF-36 3/8", LR-38 3/4", RR-39"

After Measurement: LF-38 1/4", RF-38 1/4", LR-38 7/8", RR-39"

I gained an even 1 7/8" front lift, and maintained a slight rake of 5/8" - 3/4"

Mine has 2.5" inches in front.

I haven't measured front and rear after I installed it but it looks pretty much leveled.

Heck,I just went with the 1.5" leveling kit,and the front seemed too high compared to the rear,so I ended-up installing some 1" rear lift blocks to level it out and give me just a "slight" rake.

thanks guys for the pics! you guys have some really nice rides! that really helps out a lot. so let me ask this question now... there seems to be 3 different leveling kits out there. what is the general opinion as to which is the best bang for the buck? daystar leveling (130 bucks)? readylift (200 bucks)? or rough country (70 bucks)? they all say the level the truck by 2" lift. any thoughts?

Your going to find the most popular is the Rough Country kit.

I think that the Rough Country will do fine and it's the least expensive
