Looking For A Good Bed Mat...oem Or Aftermarket?

I'm in the market for a good bed mat and thought I would tap the knowledge base here. Is OEM the way to go or is aftermarket my best bet? Of course mat brands and links to them are welcome. Also, what about tail gate mats...yea or nea?

This will be going in a 2009 Sierra Denali.

I've had a few Penda mats and they're heavy enough for my uses and fit well. I bought them from the Snugtop dealers I've bought 3 shells from. I recently bought another Penda mat to cover the top of my aluminum drawers for my guns. The picture below shows the drawers before I installed a rubber mat on it by using screws in the corners.

As long as its a nice thick heavy mat,and fits nice, you'll be alright no matter what brand you go with.

With that being said...I have a GM accessories bed mat over top of my GM accessories Bed-Rug.

A tailgate mat is nice, and compliments the bed mat,However you must drill holes in the gate to attach it,If you don't have any problems with that then go for it!

It's all about the RB Rubber Monster Mats.

I can't link directly to the product because of their site design, so just click product lines on the left, and then on the right under 'cargo management' click on the monster mat link.

Also, I don't know if you will even be able to get them where you're from - but this is the best (IMHO), and only, thing I will ever use.

ETA - They are available at Les Schwab if you have those near you.

The dealer gave me a free factory bed mat. Its cut to fit the bed perfectly. I also added a Bed Rug tailgate mat to make sitting on the tailgate more comfortable and to aid in loading/unloading and to prevent scratching the tailgate. Its attached with 3M tape so I didn't have to worry about drilling holes in the tailgate. I'm happy with this set-up.

My neighbor got a rubber bed mat from Summit and he loved it. I don't know the name of the company or if it was one of "Summits" own brand but I remember it was not to expensive.
