I'm Not Much Of An Electrician

I recently purchased the light bar that goes under the tailgate and works as turn signals, brake lights, and reverse lights. However, it is not working quite properly. I hooked them into the T-plug used on trailer lights. After I noticed they were not working I checked the plug for juice. The driver side turn signal terminal has juice to it and flashes the light in my test light. The passenger side has nothing there and with the lights plugged in and the passenger side turn signal on the light bar goes dim on the passenger side. Is this problem my T-plug or do I have bigger issues? Thank you for your help.

most likely a week ground issue. I have noticed on trailer lights that if the ground isnt making good contact with clean metal it wont be as bright or sometime not work at all.

Thanks Ryan, was about to take care of it myself but I'll add what I had typed anyway before I noticed you'd taken care of it:

Do not post in someone else's thread just for the sake of being a jackass. If you're going to go into someone's post and flame, find another message board. If one chooses to not voluntarily do so, I'll make the decision for you.

It still sounds as if a bad/weak ground to me. BUT- if you test the "T"-plug, you have a good ground for the test light, and you are not getting good signals to each terminal, it may be time to "back-stab" the wiring back to the source of power. Something does not sound right if all terminals are not giving full 12v power. David
