Before And After Pics Of The New Truck

I'll appoligize upfront for the poor picture quality, I can't seem to locate the digital camera.

 

I have been planning to order this truck for almost five months so I have been accumulating accessories and driving my wife nuts by filling up the garage with parts for a truck I didn't even own yet, but in the end it was well worth it.

 

I picked the truck up last Friday and since then I have added the GM side steps, removed the Z71 sticker and Flex Fuel Badge, swaped out the wheels, swaped out the tires for some 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon LTZs, added Weathertech digital fit floor mats, swaped the grile for the All Terrain Grile and added the Rough Country 2in Level Kit.

 

Next on the list is tinting the front windows, GM bed rail caps, GM rear wheel liners, some kind of bed liner and a blackbear tune the next time they are in Dallas. Oh and I need to get an add up for the factory 18s and tires.

 

I have some Zone 2in rear lift blocks but I'm not sure if I will add them or not.

 

The first 2 pics are right when I got it home, the next two are the new grile and the rest are with the level in and the new tires and wheels.

I have to admit that I spent a good bit of time asking myself and being nervous about how in the hell I could have bought a new truck and have the front end apart inside of two days.

 

All the advice on this site really helped in making the choices I did and in feeling confident enough to change everything out myself.

Looks awesome. Add a 1.5 BL and we'd have the same truck

 

I had some moments when I was putting on the BL when the front was completely torn off, bumper grill etc and the back bumper off too when I was wondering what in the Heck did I do? I had to keep an image in my head of the completed truck to get me through.

I live in Carrollton and use Classic GMC-Pontiac to buy or order my parts...

Ha! I live in Grapevine and work in Addison so I pass them everyday to and from work. I had a great experiance there as they were very freindly and super easy to deal with. I went a few other places but just didn't find anyone that wanted to help me order a truck until I headed there. I should have known when I ordered my 2000 Silverado I had the same experiance when I ended up going with Classic in Grapevine.

looks great man, i love that color. you should go ahead and install those rear blocks. i did mine last week, it was real easy and it makes the truck look like it should have out of the factory...
