Surge Brake Problem

Hey all, been searching the net for some help and came across your site here. Hopefully someone can assist me. I have a 08 Sierra and have a boat trailer with surge brakes. Everything has worked fine the last 2 years until today. My trailer has a 5-flat plug and when you throw it in reverse it de activates the actuator for the surge brakes and allows you to back up. Well, today it did not work. i tested my 7-round off my truck and theres no power to the center when the truck is put in reverse. Fuses are fine under the hood.

 

My question, is there an inline fuse or a relay or something im missing. I had a 04 Yukon and the same issue happened (luckily under warranty) took it to the dealer and i think they said they replaced a relay? Just tryin to save myself a little $$$ before I have to take it in.
