Need Some Advice

Hey guys, i finally got my summit racing 3" BL installed on my 02 z71 Sierra and for the most part Im happy with how it turned out. But there's just this one issue that keeps me from being satisfied. The instructions were very, VERY vauge and didn't help out too much when it came to the lower valance on the now relocated front bumper. Under my bumper,the old bumper brackets that are welded to the tow hook brackets are VERY visible and it is a major eye sore. I have seen a number of BL on trucks and never seen this before. Cutting the valance didnt really work it still looks bad because the holes on the valance where the stock tow hooks used to come out of reveal the old bumper brackets. Im just curious as to how most of the trucks that i have seen have been able to hide these bulging brackets and some i've seen still have tow hooks in proper place. Any advice would be great. Thanks
