Do You Need A Speaker Adapter To Change The Front Door Speakers On A 2

It's a 2010 truck, the topic heading wouldn't take as many characters as i typed.

 

I was looking at another thread about taking off the door panels and noticed the factory front door speakers appeared to use some kind of spring clip to mount them. Maybe I'm wrong and just don't understand the pictures but before I take my door panels off can somebody tell me whether a standard 6.5" round speaker works in a 2010? Mine's a regular cab work truck if that makes a difference.
