2009 Traverse Headlight Replacement

Good Morning,

 

I am looking for information, tips, drawings, ect on changing a passenger side headlight assy on our Traverse. A rock or something hit it and cracked it in 3 spots. I have a replacement light assy coming. The owners manual for the Traverse is terrible. It tells you lots of information on changing the rear bulbs. But to see the dealer for fronts. Every other GM vehicle we have owned for the last 15 years- you get detailed instruction on changing bulbs. Like my 2003 Silverado- You remove the headlight assy very easily to change a light bulb. This is not the case with the traverse.

 

My dealer said you need to remove the front facia/bumper to change a bulb (crazy). They would not share and information with me on doing this. I think this sort of thing should be DIY. But I need more information on doing this. Any help would be appreicated.

they are rite,sorry,it can be a pain,

 

go get a print out from another store,see the shop foreman,unless someone here can provide it ,I have no access anymore or i would have ,

 

these new trucks are not like anything before especially DIY stuff like ya say
