Wondering the difficuty and what it looks like upon completion. Do I have to remove the orginal air box?

Here is some pics of the K & N FIPK that Mountaineertom install.  It was a very easy install all you have to do is take the airbox out just by pulling the box out, and than removing the air tube from the troutle body.  I hope this helps. FIPK Install

Any idea of HP gain?

Did you have to "tune" for it? Or does the compueter handle the increase air flow?

The pics are of Tom's truck but I do have it in mine too.  I don't know the horse power increase but it does make the engine sound beefer.  I got maybe 1mpg increase since I installed it.  No tuning nothing, you might unhook the battery for a little bit to reset the computer, but that's it.  I need to put a flowmaster cat-back system on sometime to open up the exhaust.
