Gm Mp3 Player Problems

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a 2008 Silverado 1500 LT1 last week. I'm loving the truck and looking forward to getting more involved here and adding some mods to the truck.

Anyways, I'm having a problem with the stereo. This is a CD player w/o bose or dvd. The two things that are happening are as follows:

1. The mp3 ID tags do not show the song info. It will show "yb and the 1st letter of the song" Like for the song "Like a Rolling Stone" it will show "ybL"

2. Also, with a MP3 CD if I turn the truck off in the middle of a song, when I start the truck again it starts at the beginning of the song instead of where it left off.

Has anyone had/fixed this problem?

I have been having the same issue. I have tried to create cd's in two different ways. One way using a software disk burning program, the other was to dump a bunch of MP3's onto a dish through Windows with no luck. All of my MP3's are top quality rips, and properly tagged and I get the same issues you mentioned
