Dark Headliner

Has anyone on here reupholstered (or had it done) their headliner with something darker so that it matches the ebony interior? I was thinking about converting over to something like this. I think that it would be really good looking if I was able to darken the tan trim parts and then add a dark headliner.

I've seen some custom ones done (got a friend that does stuff like this), and it's pretty straightforward. I've been kicking around ideas for my GTO interior, and headliner customization is most definitely in the running. If you plan on doing it yourself, taking the headliner out is a bit of a pain...So is stripping the old material off. From talking to him, it's surprisingly cheap to have done (couple hundred bucks) for the overall result it has on the interior's looks.

Has no one on here done this? I would really like to see one of our trucks with it before I go out and spend the money. I am generally not one to be a Guinea Pig.

I wanted to do this, but there is alot of tan plastic parts that would need to be painted/dyed.

I just think that it would look so much better. has anyone used any of the plastic/vinyl dyes to darken the tan parts on the interior?

I would also like my headliner to be matched to the rest of my black interior, my 1983 Camaro Z28 had completely black interior and it looked awesome.
