P0449 Code

OK. I hope someone can help. I replaced my evap solenoid vent/valve. Cleared the codes and it came right back after my second start. I checked the purge valve and it is working (opening after a few minutes). The evap canister has free flow and the new solenoid valve is working? Am I missing something? I have read just about every post on this subject. I am 3 days overdue for inspection!

Is this the part you replaced ????...I had the same code, replaced the parts shown, 3 trips later the light went off.....not sure why yours would return

Check to make sure all of the hoses for the new solenoid/vent are hooked up properly. When I fixed mine the code came back due to the 5/8" line from the evap canister being loose. I pushed it back on tight and the code went away. Also look for damage & cuts to the lines & check to make sure that your gas cap is on tight.
