Heat/ac Controls

hello to all,

first off ive got a 2004 silverado 2500HD with the manual heater/ac controls,

 

first the blower moter resistor is shot, thats one thing, the other is the mode dial is not working properly,

the air is stuck on defrost, it will not switch between dash, floor, bi-level, etc... doesnt matter where you put the knob the air still come from the upper dash, base of windsheild.

 

any help diagnosing this would be awesome.

i no where the blower resister is so thats all taken care of..

could it be the mode door motors? i dont have a diagram to trace wires any help please
