I purchased a set of GM fog lights for my Silverado, I am at the part of removing the fuse box top to get underneath to run the purple wire, I am running into the issue of what seems like the wiring thats underneath it is connected to the part thats suppose to come out of the fuse box area, if anyone can help please by all means respond.

you are trying to pull the top half of the fuse panel (that actually contains the fuse) apart from the 6 or so harness plugs? if so, they do come out, some will just fall off (in my experience) and some will be a PITA. Take your time, it's frustrating and you'll swear that you'll never get it to all line back up, but it is possible.

I did mine about a month ago.

Are you saying that there is already a wire in the spot the purple wire is supposed to go?

I'm not trying to be a smart arse by no means - are you sure you do not have pin/out diagram reversed? I believe there are some ID marks on the fuse box that define the orientation - i remember spending sometime looking at it to make sure i found the correct connector to mate the wire too.
