Which Bed Liner To Get?

Recommended Posts

Since I'm picking up the car in the morning, I already ordered bull bar and a step bars.(last night)

And now I'm looking for bed liner (with easy installation) and a cover (not sure which one to get)

along with exhaust, tunes and rims.

It is 2010 6.0L engine.

Any suggestions?

For the bedliner, I'd recommend a spray-in liner, NOT a plastic slipon liner.

For the cover, either Truxedo or Access --- both have given me excellent service.

What are you using the bed for?

I put the BedRug in my truck (finally) and couldn't be happier. It's awesome for all around home-owner use.... construction, taking stuff to the dump, tools, sporting equipment, etc etc. It's NOT carpet, it's actually plastic. I had an oil container spill in the back of the truck and I soaked it up with some shop rags and sprayed it out with my hose... no oil residue left :dunno: . Give it a serious look.... it took me 5+ years of pickup truck ownership before i even considered getting it, but once I actually looked into it, i dont know why i didnt get one sooner :idiot:

Oh, and check out the Truxedo Lo Pro QT.

Here's my install thread:

Thanks guys. I love yoru Denali ^^^

I'm not planning to do Heavy duty use on the bed.

Most likely storage use will be it. So plastic cover looks easier to keep it clean.

And I love the folding cover with storages.

Where should I look to get the best pricing on these?

I looked AutoAnything but they don't have the G4 covers I'm looking for.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

I use my 2500HD Crew Cab mostly for pulling an enclosed car hauler. Other than that for limited home owner use, or to move an occasional engine, transmission or other car parts.. I have the 6 1/2 foot bed.

I looked at several different tr-fold tonneau covers - they all looked about the same and they were all built about the same. The Tonno Pro offered the best value - I'm very happy with it. $249.00 shipped to my door.

I just put a heaver rubber "bed mat" in the bed. Added rail caps.. The Tonno-Pro keeps everything dry and is easy to remove when needed.

spray in is probably the best if your going to be putting that bed through the wringer, the hard plastic shells are nice but will scratch the hell out of the bed paint and trap moisture in there, so will the rubber bed matts....atm i'm rolling with a naked bed, i don't use it a ton but i figure once the paints scratched beyond gone i'll figure something out

I had a rubber bed mat for 80k miles on my last truck and the paint was perfectly fine underneath when i traded it in (i kept the mat for the new truck).

lol let me correct myself, the matt will trap moisture but won't scratch the paint, i ment the hard plastic shell will

I have Line-X spray-in bedliner, over the rail and absolutely love it. This is my third truck with Line-X over the rail and it is a superb product.

I also have the Line-X Tonneau Cover, which has locked/keyed heavy-duty panels both on the front and rear. http://www.linexcover.com/ .

I totally love both and if my rig disappeared tomorrow, I would replace it exactly as it is.

I have a Rhino Linings Tuff Grip over the rail on mine. I've hauled fire wood, lumber, and old demo material from my house so far and it still looks new. The Tuff Grip also keeps things from sliding around in the bed which is also nice. I don't have a bed cover so I can't help you there.

I 2nd the BedRug. Mine is 9 years old and still looks great!. I had it in my '01 and kept it and put it in this truck when I bought it. It is very durable and nothing slides around on it, plus it conforms to the ribs in the bed leaving a virtually flat surface.
