97 C1500 No Brake Lights

Well spent all day trying to figure this out but I have no brake lights. Hazzards work, turn signals work, bulbs/fuses/relays all check out good. Voltage checks are all good. only thing I havent done is a wire chase. I replaced the brake light switch, and nothing. Any suggestions?

Vehicle 1997 C1500 standard cab shortbed. There is an aftermarket alarm in it, could this be the problem?

Did you check the fuse/relay center under the hood? There is a fuse in there for the brake lights.

Yes I checked that one. I plan on checking the turn signal switch tomorrow. But I unless I have to I dont want to buy it.

Try a test light at the back to see if you have juice. I have seen some aftermarket tee connectors for a trailer light pigtail go bad. You may not have this on your truck but it is worth mentioning.
