Stick With Afm Or Tune It Out?

Hello All,

About to make an appointment with Justin at BlackBear and had one question. I plan on doing a CAI (dont know which brand yet) and probably a Corsa exhaust or a Extreme Cherry Bomb before the tune. Im not too worried about the drone but Ive heard the Corsa's arent that loud and kinda want something a little louder. Just wondering how much difference the AFM really makes on the the MPG. I like the fact that I get better MPG and actually play the game of how long can a keep in in 4 mode sometimes but is it really worth it? Are there any other advantages of having it?

Corsa Sport is plenty loud,... just not loud in the cab.

If you're doing an exhaust of any kind, I say do away with AFM. Your ears will thank you for not having to listen to that "tractor" sound that 4-cylinder operation produces.

I have no muffler on my truck and you get used to the subaru sound... i don't have full dic so now i definitely know when i'm in 4 mode... i can make a youtube video of it this week if you want so you can hear it.
