P0221....Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'B' Circuit Range/Performance Problem

 

This is a code that keeps making the check engine light come on now if i replace the pedal travel sensor gm part# 25832864 should this take care of this problem?

It will fix it if the Pedal position sensor is the cause, if there is power, ground or signal problem then it will probly not fix it..

That's a performance code which means the signal is not linear with the other sensor. It likely is the APP (accelerator pedal position sensor) but there have been some chaffed wiring issues with those as well. Above and behind the parking brake actuator for one place.
