Cleaning engine compartment

How does everyone here clean out there engine compartment.  Mine was spotless, but thanks to my oil cooler line bursting as I'm driving down the road it is now covered in oil.  Everything from the outside of my airbox, battery,and of course the entire engine.  What is the best/safest thing I can do/use to clean it out?

I've seen their ad on TV a few times and they are a local company so I see their trucks and products all the time.

 

Finally, I think I would look a Megiure's engine compartment cleaner.  With all the electronics and sensor in there, I don't think I would just jump in there with a steam clearner.
