Can I Buy One Or Paint It

I want a black grill for my truck and get rid of the chrome. Do I have to paint it or can I buy a black one.

I painted mine, much cheaper than what GM wants for it. Check around, a paint shop should do it from $80-$150.

It would look good, the chrome mesh really stands out and looks great with an all black front end. I'd definitely paint that bowtie while your at it though!

Paint yours. I saw a red 900 today with a red grill and a chrome bumper. Looked great.

I bought the same grill for my truck, color matched and chrome mesh, paid 340...but then i turned around and sold my stock grille for 150..so I didn't think it was to bad.

Paint it and throw on a billet grill if you want to be different. The GM grill is really nice looking but a lot of people have that set up.

I want the new from GM but it is pretty expensive. I've been putting off on buying it because I've added some performance mods instead. I would buy it new from GM so you don't have to paint over the chrome, to me it seems like the new one from GM would hold up better than painting over the chrome.
