Where Should My Oil Pressure Gauge Read?

About 25 to 60 psi depending on oil viscosity and oil pump condition, if you get down on it, it might show a little higher.

My truck runs at about 35-40 PSI when cold at 1000 RPM. Mine is also a 5.7L. I find if you use a high milage engine oil or if you add some lucas oil stabilizer it will increase the pressure quite a bit.
