Do you have to leave these plugged in at all times, or can you plug it in, tune and take it out? My Hypertech had been working great until it took a dump today during updating. They wont help me because I bought it used and warranty only goes with original purchaser. Like the reviews the Edge gets, but don't want to have to keep it plugged up all the time.

I leave mine plugged in, but im 99% sure if you remove it after reprogramming the ecm/tcm everything works fine.

i still have it, it has the pod, so i leave it in all the time. cant change tune on the fly, have to set key to "run", let new tune program, then your good to go.
