does anyone know if i could fit 285/55/20 on a 20x9 rim with 6mm offset without rubbing? i have a 2010 1500 2wd with a 2 inch leveling kit

You can go to this site and type in whatever stock tire size you have and then what size you will be upgrading to and it will give you all the measurements of what the variations will be in the tires. I would do that and then just take a measurement of what kind of room you have in the wheel wells from whatever measurements it gives you. I did that to make sure my 24's wouldnt rub and they have a perfect inch or 2 at full turn. I'd just compensate a bit for the 6mm offset since they will be out a bit more and have a wider turn in the wheel wells

On a GMT900 truck, you need at least 25mm of POSITIVE offset to run that tire. Even with a 20x9 +25, it could rub slightly in the rear when turned hard over bumps.
