Yes they will physically work, but getting the wires correct will be a little harder.

Sorry ..I should have been a little more specific. 08 gmc sierra want to put the 2500 hd style on my truck for towing purposes, no power mirrors on the truck!

Well, it depends on which options his mirrors had and what options the 2500hd mirrors have. If the 2500hd mirrors detract and retract and his stock mirrors didn't electronically fold in or if his stock mirrors had flashers in them and the 2500hd ones don't, then they'll be a conflict. But he said his mirrors are power nothing so he won't have to worry about it.

They have to be manually retracted and folded.

Yes, they work. I had the full optioned reg mirrors. Heat, turn signal, power fold, all that. The tow mirrors are heated and have the turn signal, but no power fold. They are all manual fold/extend. If you have power fold, the button on the door just becomes, a button that does nothing haha.
