Here is my question. Not a nub to vehicles but this is a stumper. I have a 2000 Sierra 1500 2WD with manual climate control(HA). When I hit the recirc button, the A/C seems to kick in when the temp is set to cold without hitting the A/C button and the A/C button does not light up. Is this normal?

Second, when I do hit the recirc button the air inlet door seems to flap between open and closed but is fine when set to fresh air. I do not normally use the A/C or recirc unless I smell that random skunk. Any help would be great.
