I am looking for a way to attach my daughters forward facing kiddie seat, top tether strap while the seat is installed in the 2nd row folding seat. I have a copy of the service bulletin for this, and when I went to the dealer, they gave me one part no for the top tether hardware package, pn 15010137.

I called another dealership who actually stocked it, and he described it as a clip that would install into one of the other seat belt latches, with a opening to accept the top tether stap clip itself.

This is great if you don't mind keeping the 3rd row seat installed.

However I am trying to free up some much needed room in my suburban by putting my daughters baby seat in the 2nd row seat, and my son also there in his booster seat.

 

Anybody out there know if this pn is the "real deal" and will let me use just the 2nd row folding seat? Or, if there are any alternatives that are safe to use. I have already purchased a belt kit pn 150101286 that uses the far back tie downs in the truck.

This works okay, except you have to still carry the 3rd seat.

 

Any help would be appreciated!
