Driver's Side Mirror

My driver's side mirror is the kind that will dim with the interior rearview mirror. It no longer has a clear reflection. I have a triple reflection in the mirror. Anyone else have this problem? Also, anyone got the part number to replace the mirror part?

While I havent had this problem personally, I know what you are talking about. I dont know the part # but if you search ebay you can find the glass fairly cheap and from what I understand they are pretty easy to replace.

You can but it involves a little wiring. Seeing you have an 09 Sierra, do you have the auto dimming inside mirror? I know they deleted that as a standard option in 09. Thats why I ask! If not then you will have to upgrade to an auto dimming mirror. Then you would have to run the wires from your driverside mirror into the truck. I think there is a write up on the some where but I'm not sure where. Basically you can but it is not just plug and play!
