Squeaking Nerf Bars

My nerf bars will squeak where they bolt up to the brackets.  I can temporarily make the noise stop by spraying the connection down with WD40 but it always starts back in about 3000 miles/3 months.

Any one else experienced this and how did you fix it?

can you put a rubber bushing where they bolt up?

I had the same problem with the support bracket on my Westin Nerf's.  I cut up an old tire tube and used those pieces as spacers.  Squeek has been gone for 1 year now.
