Engine Displacements

I did a search and did not find this. I know it has been discussed, before/

An 8.1L would be how many cubic inches?  And, if you  know the same info for the smaller engines, too.

Also, I thought my 97 350 was rated at 270 HP, but I didn't know the torque number. Thanks

8.1L = 496 cu. in.

6.0L = 366 cu. in.

5.3L = 325 cu. in.

5.7L = 350 cu. in.

5.0L = 305 cu. in.

5.0L = 302 cu. in. (Ford)

0.1 L is equal to about 6 cu. in.  Most Domestic manufacturers will manipulate the metric displacement label to fit marketing schemes.

For instance a 302 cu. in. motor is a 5.0 L engine (4.95L) as well as a 311 cu. in. motor (5.0999999L).

To be specific 1 liter is equal to 61.02374 cu. inches.

Thanks MarkD!  I will C&P that info to a Word document for future reference.
