Headlight Repair Kits

Has anyone tried any of the headlight restoratoin kits out there? Do they work or should I just buy new headlights?

I used the 3M kit on a friend of mine's Hyundai Sonata. Made a huge difference, the lights before were so yellow I don't know how she could see anything driving at night but they ended up looking almost brand new. You just have to follow the directions and be patient, it takes time. Also make sure that you keep the drill slow so that you don't burn up the sanding discs. Definitely well worth it.
