Flowmaster 50 Series on 5.3L

Has anyone replaced the stock muffler only on their truck with a 50 Series?  I want to be at least a little different, seems everyone is running duals out the back of their truck.  I want more rumble but also don't want to look like all the other trucks out there.

 

I want to add a tip similar to this one in keeping with the "chrome" trim on the side of the truck. http://www.truckaddons.com/images02/interior/toucan/35.jpg

sounds just like my truck only I didn't go with flowmaster. I used a flo-pro galvanized glass pack. It has a really nice rumble to it and saved a ton of money and added a chrome tip much like you are talking about. I had my shop weld it on. The entire package only cost $52. I would assume that the Flow 50 would fit too, the may have to add a little section of pipe once they cut off the old school bus muffler. Good luck, I love my flo-pro. and the extra $250 in my pocket from opting to do this over the duals.

i have those "50"series mufflers on my 5.3.The setup i have is the"ForceII"system from flow master(what ever that means).my came with "SS"exhausttips.perform nice with the "Airaid"setup.nice rumble to.but if price is a problem then stay away from this setup
