I have had numerous problems with my escalade not cranking over and getting code p1518 reduced engine power etc..i was jus checking wire connections near throttle body and joggled the connector right in the middle of the fuel rail on passenger side..my reduced engine power ,tc and check engine popped on..i turned the truck off and it wouldnt crank over..i jiggled the same connector messed with the wires and it fired right up with no codes..the problem is definatly in this connector..what exactly does it go to..and should i replace the harnness or just try to find the bad spot in the wire and solder splice it?Can i maybe eliminate the connector all together and solder the wires together? im selling the truck next week and jus want it to run..any help on what this connector is would be appriciated..and i think it had 8wires on it..its not an injector connector but is right in the middle of the injector connectors on passenger side

Are you talking about the big connector that goes into the coil pack rack?

A pic would come in handy.

In a format we can blow up and actually see would be even more handy.

Yeah...Those are the coil pack connectors.

I'd lean towards a wire coming loose inside one before thinking one rubbed through.
