Can I swap out the RCDLR to a unit that had remote key less entry. My '09 Silverado has power locks but I was told it was a upscale work truck and is missing a "part" to enable the remote option. Can the module be purchased new? Thanks

I don't even know what RCDLR means, so here's a bump for you.

RCDLR stands for "Remote Control Door Lock Reciever" I tried geting the remote function turnen on in my '09 Silverado and was told I was missing a part. The RCDLR also monitors tire pressure, so I assumed I could swap it out with a unit that does the door locks also.
