Dlc, Where Is It?

I am trying to program a remote by going through the data link connector. Could anyone tell me where it is located on a 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada? The remote that came with the vehicle appears to be original, but it is not working properly. It also appears that the ignition switch or the door lock has been replaced because it has two keys (1 for the door & 1 for the ignition).The ignition key has to be put in a certain way to turn.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Drivers footwell, same as pretty much everything. Usually left side, just past the kick panel. Stick your head down there, you'll see it.
