Gm Or Aftermarket Tonneau Cover?

Hey everyone,

 

New to this site, I am in the process of buying a 2010 silverado 1500 LTZ and am looking at tonneau covers for it. The dealership is offering $1500 in GM accessories for free, so I can get the GM cover for free, along with a couple other accessories. I want a folding hard top, and it seems really difficult to find any reviews or anything on the GM model. I'm looking at the BakFlip F1 as my aftermarket choice. Anyone own the GM folding hard top, or has any advice with respect to GM tonneau covers? Or should I spend the extra on the BakFlip and find some other accessories to spend the $1500?

price out a Pace Edwards tonneau cover. IO have one and they are nice

That's pretty neat they want to throw in $1500 worth of GM accessories. If ya want the logo, that would be the way to go. If you don't care, after market is the best. I don't own a hard tri-fold tonneau cover, but I have the vinyl with velcro closure on the sides by Truxedo. I think I got it from JC Whitney ( www.jcwhitney.com ). You might can also check RealTruck ( www.realtruck.com ), I have purchased items from them before. This is just food for thought. Comes in handy when you don't want something getting wet or you want to improve a little on the gas mileage. Good luck and be safe!
