Electrical Problems?

Very odd question and problem:

I have a 2009 Silverado CC, 6.0L. When I turn the blinkers on for whatever reason and I turn the windshield wipers on, there is a "hiccup" in the blinker operation when the windshield wipers swipe. Hope that makes sense.

What happens is the blinker (right or left) slows down and speeds up randomly. The problem will not occur when the windshield wipers are off. Still with me?

 

I've taken it to the dealer 3 times for this problem and they can't figure out what's causing it. They said they've replaced the "control module" for the blinkers (I guess the nnbs doesn't use relays anymore, please let me know if this true?). But the problem is still exists.

 

All I can think of is there is an excessive current draw on the system when the wipers swipe across the windshield.

 

Are the wipers and blinkers connected somehow? I really need a schematic for the wiring system to dig into it but I thought I would ask this question first.

 

I hope all of this makes sense; I have searched for this problem and cannot find anyone with the same situation. Thanks

I found out what the "control module" is. It looks like it's called the BCM, correct?

take it back,its under warranty,leave it there 'till its fixed and call the regional or district service manager and get him involved,the dealer will NOT blow you off anymore.

 

its just not your problem,

 

do not touch anything

I'm having problems w/ my wiper motor. Where exactly is the BCM located on your GM truck , I have a 07' Sierra

I don't think they changed the BCM, they may just updated the BCM program
