2001 8.1l Ally Clunk/knock Noise

When ever i start my truck i get a loud clunk/knock sound from what seems to be from behind the enigne.

It almost sounds just like the parking prawl when you put it into park, does anyobdy have this noise at all?

Runs and drives perfect, truck has always made this sound since i bought it used, any ideas?

  A 5mm slip on spacer is no big deal. I run them with my summer aftermarket 20" wheels. There's a LOT of thread still. It's not like you only have 3 or 4 turns of the lug. Been running this setup every summer for the past 5 years with no issues. I run true spacer/adapters in the winter with the stock wheels. 2" spacers that bolt on to the stock lugs and wheels bolt on to the lugs on the spacers. Again, 5 years with no issues.

  $3.69 for 87. $4.09 for Diesel. Same thing though, a few cities away or even into Wisconsin it's $5.00 a gallon still and they all get it from the same damn place.

  I caught three different videos, Lake Speeds and two of Gregs videos on the weekend and I instantly thought of your truck and if you had heard about these items yet which is why I took a peek in the 1500 series just now. Some very interesting findings were discovered by the looks of it and I was shocked at the results from the oil testing as the low engine speed with high torque load places a very different load on the bearings and hits home that viscosity certainly has relevance depending on the engine type and its operating speed and load.
