Hid Headlight Question

I have a quick question for everyone, I installed a set of HID headlights on my 2002 Silverado 2500HD and they're great except for every once in a while I'll start the truck and only one light will come on. If I turn the headlights on and off once or twice the second one will usually kick on. I've heard of this problem because of the DRL system so I tried pulling the DRL Fuse & Relay however no luck.... Any ideas?

I had the same problem too and after a few months the bulb went bad--

Did you guys have to take out the DRL fuse or relay? Or was it a problem with the ballast / bulb?

changed my ballast and everythings been fine since. DRL's are still active.
