4l60e Shifting Actuator?

I have a 1992 GMC Sierra waith a 4l60e transmission, while driving it only seems to have 1st and 2nd gear. A few years ago i had a GMC van with the same problem, and it came up as having a bad shifting actuator. I never ended up fixing the problem, so now that i want to fix this one, i can't seem to be able to fing actuators for sale, or info on replacing them. Any ideas?

there are no shifting actuators ,solinoids yes,but it has to be diagnosed before throwing parts at it ,transmission are not a beginners repair system,the 3-4 clutch MAY be worn out ,

 

get it looked at by a technician

A 92 should still have a 4L60, which is non-electronic. If that's the case then the solution to fixing it is going to be different than if it were a 4L60-E. I'd get it looked at. It's probably a worn out clutch between 3-4 as govtech stated.
