Headlights

I saw a post on here while searching, but it was kind of old. It had to deal with putting the Denali type Projector headlights into a non Denali Sierra. Would this work?

are you adding a projector to the stock lens or changing the whole lens altogether?

Either to be honest. I upgraded to HID's and now want to get projectors installed. I saw a post about adding the denali headlights (housing/projector assembly) to a non Denali truck. Was wondering if that is possible. The flip side, what are the best projectors to retrofit into my housings?

assuming you are referring to your '06 - yes. you can do this. You can use the Denali Headlights on your non-Denali truck, you can not use the lower light housings, the Denali had a different shape that won't work with your truck.

 

how I know this:

a friend had a set on his '01 model Sierra 1500 HD, when he traded it he moved them to his 07 Sierra 2500 Classic.

 

no promise if the HID bulb will work well, if at all with the housings though.

Perfect that is what I wanted to know. Now I just need to see if the HID bulb fits, but think I may need to try them on in person.
