Hey guys,

 

Have a 96 silverado 4x4 1500

 

I got a plug n play wiring harness for a trailer, everything works BUT when I hit my brakes on my truck, the running lights turn off, then when i let go of the brakes, the lights turn back on. WTH?

 

Then when I dont have my lights on, I hit my brakes, the running lights come on....

 

 

Any help would be great guys.

Bad ground on the trailer, through the connector. The truck and trailer have to be grounded together. Does it work okay without the park lights on?
