Aftermarket Cruise Control

I do a lot of long-distance driving in my 2009 Sierra WT, and for several weeks I've been going over my options for adding cruise control (ie: OEM parts/programming vs aftermarket kits) and just had a hard time because of cost. Yesterday I stumbled upon a deal on Ebay and I ended up getting a new Rostra 250-1848 Cruise Control Kit for $100...exactly the kit I've been thinking of! Retail for this kit is about $260. I would have preferred the OEM solution, but the cost of parts and uncertainty of getting the PCM reprogrammed kept me back. Everything I've read online about the Rostra and it's products are positive, but the retail price on their kits kept me away until now. Hopefully it will arrive quickly so I can install it next weekend...wish me luck!

Got the cruise control installed this morning, took about 3 hours. Went for a test drive and it works great! That should help for those long trips and help my MPGs too.
