Front Bumper Weight

I am looking into getting a bumper replacement for my 2008 1500 Silverado, Z71 Crew Cab. I would like to know how much the front bumper weighs along with the two end caps. Basically I want to be able to look at bumper replacement weights and figure out how much over the stock weight they will be adding on my truck.

 

Same for the back bumper.

 

Anyone know this information or where I might find it? I did a search hear on the forum, but only found limited info for a rear bumper of a different model.

I can't say I have ever seen any specs on that. Might have to take them off and weigh them. I can say i have had both bumpers off my 04 2500 HD and I would guess they were no more then 60-70 lbs each with the brackets. Mainly a skin with plastic trim. Hope that helps! Matt

Front bumpers on these trucks weigh about 25 pounds with brackets. That is only an estimate, but I was amazed just how light they were. Not much there!

im goin to agree with about 25 pounds these things are pretty light they're mainly plastic, rear is a little heavier.

Wow, I knew they weren't heavy, but I didn't know they are that light. Looking forward to what they actually way!
