I would like to get one of these as well for the ability to lock it.  However I am concerned about water building up in the rails and then having it freeze on me.  I would like to get feedback on how it reacts to the cold. Thanks.

They have modified the covers by putting a full layer of padded polymer over the aluminum interlocking panels.  This makes it so there is no grooves for the water to get in to and freeze.  Any body out there have any positive or negitive comments.
