Does The Factory Radio Show Ipod Display?

I have the '11 Silverado with the USB port. I found a thread that says you can control the Ipod with the steering wheels controls. My questions is:

 

1. Does the radio display show what song is playing from the Ipod?

2. If not, what does the display show?

3. When you turn off the truck, is the USB port still charging the Ipod? (I planned on just leaving my Ipod constantly plugged in to the truck)

 

On a side note, does anyone know if the '11 Equinox LTZ does the same as above, haven't picked up the vehicles yet, just waiting for them to get to the dealership.

Yes it shows Artist, album, song title. Don't know the answer to number 3 -- never checked.
