Long Tube Headers

I tried those on my Silverado SS. I wasn't too happy with the the way they fit. The Left side header was too close to my front differential yoke. When I went into reverse or turned a corner too hard the the shift of the engine would push the collectors into the yoke and make a nasty noise. I contacted OBX and they said to take a hammer and dent the collector in where it rubbed. Needless to say I got rid of them and went with the Dynatech's. They would work ok on a 2wd. And those are not cats on the mid pipes. They are just resonators. You will trip cat low efficiency codes unless you get a custom tune. If you are running a aftermarket cat back exhaust it will be pretty loud. With the Corsa Sport system I had, it was just too raspy. I've heard them with the factory exhaust and it sounded pretty good.

Thanks for the reply, I wouldn't be able to use them without cats, I need to pass emissions.

You're welcome. I would stay away from those. Spend the money and get a good set of LT's.

If you have to go with a set up without cats you can get the 02 sensors tuned out so you won't throw a code. Even with aftermarket cats you may need to get them tuned out.
