Flowmaster Exhaust

I just bought a Flowmaster american thunder agressive exhaust for my truck I have a reg cab long bed and that is what I ordered and they sent me one for a crewcab short bed or a ext cab short bed. Im not sure the difference between the two but was wondering if anyone knew if i could still use this exhaust even if minior fabricating is involved. or to return it. thanks

You can prolly just cut the pipes to the length you need, but I would check with either the place you bought it from or flowmaster

Thats what I sorta thought too but I wasnt sure if the bends were going to match up and the muffler placement.

I would return it and get the right one,Many times people have fab fitted there muffler systems only to find one too much drone in cab or two bad fit from bad cutting.

Get the right one that is the right fit so you will have a right sounding truck You will be much happier and you won't have that what if????

Yea I called Flowmaster and they said the kit would not work for my truck. I was going to cut up the pipes to make it fit but I dont think I will take the chance. Pain in the *** getting the wrong parts sent to you.
