Wipers don't work right. Help please! :)

They turn on, but the delay and variable speeds aren't properly working.  When I turn them on, they go one speed and don't shut off when you turn the switch.  Is this the lever inside with the cruise, high beams, and turn signals, or is it the motor?  I think if it was the motor they wouldn't work at all.  I'm guessing it's the switch, but I don't know if I need to replace the whole lever, or something else.  WTF??   ???

It's either the wiper module(circut board in the wiper,3-screws and $33.to replace)or the switch,Check the Manual for the troubleshooting. steve

I'll try looking at the owner's manual, then at a Chilton's or Haynes.  Thanks, hopefully one of those works to fix my problem.  If not, I'll be back to square one.

.. hows that dome light thing coming along??

I'm still working on that as well.  I appreciate the help you've given me, I lovated that override and tried both on and off, but still no go.  As you can see, I got a really good deal on a truck that was in excellent mechanical condition, but had some cosmetic things here and there that needed to be fixed.  I'd rather get a truck that needed a dome light & wiper fix, than one that needed a new engine and tranny.

I'll look at that switch, and I've tried the pass door and the dome still doesn't come on with that door open either.  It makes me so mad when I can't figure out what's wrong with something.  I'm one of those guys who likes to fix things and figure out what's wrong with them.  Muchosgracias my brotha.
